Micro-Review! HGUC Banshee [Destroy Mode]

I have to admit something. I watched Episode 5 of Gundam UC right before I wrote this review. It’s fantastic, and you should watch it. Now. I am so pumped right now! Anyway: This kit is identical to the HGUC Unicorn Gundam DM with a few additions. I’ve never really been a fan of all the extra add-ons, so I opted to leave them off, and go with a more original, novel centric version. A good thing with this kit: it’s very modular (kind of), so you can basically make your own Banshee!

Review! HG 00 Quanta

Happy Thanksgiving, World! To Canada: Happy Belated Thanksgiving! Oh wait. Never mind… Thought I would have a Review up for Thanksgiving, considering I’ve been rendered immobile by Turkey and Sweet Potato’s. So far, the HG 00 Model Kit has been my favorite High Grade (outside of the HGUC line). What way to make it better? Add a half cape, of course!

HGUC Kshatriya Review

The Kshatriya is a mobile suit – following how I feel about Hajime Katoki’s designs of the latest U.C. suits – I completely LOVE! It’s designation of being a ‘Prototype Mobile Suit for New-type’ follows through completely in it’s blocky, rough around the edges design. The way some parts are over sized, and some parts look like they were ripped off of a Zaku II, was firstly off putting to me. But I grew to like it after, say, three minutes.

HGUC Jegan Review

The latest Generation of Cannon Fodder! The Jegan carries over it’s very odd color scheme (Seriously, is that like sea-foam green? Or perhaps… I dunno.) and its tendency to get blown to hell, from it’s GM predecessor . Now, (as a spoiler) there’s nothing particularly special about this mobile suit. It is mass produced, so nothing makes it really stand out. But that doesn’t necessarily mean this kit isn’t exceptional!

HGUC Geara Zulu Review

AAAAAH! Finally! Took me long enough to do this. Then again, took me long enough to build the damn thing in the first place! I have this to say about the Gear Zulu: I love this thing! I am myself something of a World War II buff, and always like the Zaku for it’s German looks (not apparent, but there), and the Geara Zulu Solidifies the complete Shutzstaffel look! Gas Mask? check! MP-40? Check! Sturm Faust? Check! Need I go on?

Oh yeah! Stick Grenades? Check!

Model Update! HGUC Kshatriya

So this would be one of those incidents where you go to look at a model. And then it’s half done! I have a good chunk of the Kshatriya done, say about: 60%. Lets take a look at what we’ve got so far!

Ooh, look! A new Phone!

Alright. So. I got the new iPhone 4! And to be absolutely, completely honest with you… I LOVE it. It’s just so sexy! But for me, one of the real perks, is on the back!

HGUC Unicorn Gundam [Destroy Mode] Review

Alright, uh. God intervened? xD Sorry about not getting this up yesterday. I should really stop making time estimates on this kind of stuff. Ah well. I ended up building this one while building the GN-X (Still haven’t touched that Geara Zulu), the build was pretty simple, and almost no paint or detailing was needed. Built this kit the time of about a couple full hours of work. It’s a surprising simple build for it’s complex looks. Though it does have a lot of pieces (That goes without saying, I think), and some problems. So, onto the Review!

Guess who’s back?

I am! That’s right. Been gone for what? A month? A MONTH AND THREE DAYS?! Good Lord. Alright now. Well, I’m back, had some stuff to do, got busy, lost the connector cable for my camera, forgot about my blog for a while, remembered my blog, looked for/found my connector cable for my camera, and shot a review for a couple models. That was the past month. More or less. I was going to get back on sooner, but I actually did lose the cable for my camera. And on top of that, I kind of sort of lost most of the photo’s for my GN-X. Including a couple of build ones, it’s been interesting trying to dig them out of my computer, but it didn’t work. So I’m going to have to redo my review for it. But on a later date. So I decided to sit down and build the HGUC Unicorn Gundam (D-M). Fun little build, if you want a spoiler. I’ll have the review up TOMORROW. God himself would have to intervene to stop me from putting this up! (that said, I’ll probably fall down the stairs and snap my Femur in half now… xD)

P.S. I also thought about redoing my Blog layout, but I couldn’t find a new theme I liked. Think I’ll keep this one, but I MIGHT just put in the 15 bucks to get access to the Editor for the site (they give you a free blog, then make you pay for the other stuff. They are good). Maybe when This becomes a little more popular…
